Stop the Bus – Oxford School Playground Has More….

Manufacturer's Photo

Noah and I had some time on our hands while doing errands a couple of days ago in Halifax. We walked over to Oxford School Playground as he had so much fun on our first visit. It was early in the morning and all the kids were in class. We had the playground to ourselves.

Noah zipped right away to the magic bus and asked if we could make another video just like the other day. He loves that bus. It must be one of the largest pieces of spring rider playground equipment on the market. We had a great springy open-air ride while waiting for a transit bus to take us downtown.

As we were leaving, we stumbled on the X-Wave². We hadn’t seen it on our first visit. It’s tucked away in the southwest corner secluded from the rest of the equipment under the shade of Chebucto Road trees.

Let me forewarn you, this baby has the potential for massive, mega amounts of fun. We didn’t have long to test it out but I can tell you it was sproingy, giggly and jiggly – all highly recommended characteristics for invigorating, return engagement play.

This is a more the merrier ride. It’s all up and down wavy, undulation nation, an articulated see-saw, surfing simulation. Our quick ride with two was a lot of fun. Imagine 20 kids at a time. The manufacturer suggests supervision.

Surf’s up. We’ll be back to ride the wave.
